Analysis on the Principles and Characteristics of Concrete Mixer

Concrete mixer is usually used to mix concrete, and it has many types and models. It is divided into compulsory concrete mixer and drum concrete mixer according to the form of mixing, and their respective principles and characteristics are as follows:

Mandatory Concrete Mixer

Principles:

The compulsory concrete mixer is composed by an agitating shaft arranged horizontally in the mixing cylinder and an agitating blade arranged on the mixing shaft. When the work is done, the shaft drives the material in the cylinder to shear, squeeze and turn over, and the strong relative motion results in homogeneous mixing.

Characteristics:

Compulsory concrete mixer is the mixing tube which does not move, and a blade rotating shaft is used for mixing. It has good mixing quality and high production efficiency, and it is particularly suitable for mixing dry, hard, lightweight aggregate and concrete.

  1. Characteristics of twin shaft concrete mixer

The inner structure of the twin shaft mixer is tightly integrated, and the wear-resistant liner is arranged inside the stirring tank. The mixing tank is equipped with two horizontal mixing shafts, agitating arms and mixing blades. Due to its good mixing performance, it is suitable for large aggregate mixing.

  1. Characteristics of single shaft concrete mixer

The two blades of single shaft mixer is installed in the mixing arm and the two blades are rotated in opposite directions. During the mixing process, the two blades push the material from both ends to the middle of the mixing cylinder, and the mixture is extruded, sheared and rubbed, so the mixing effect is very good.

Drum Concrete Mixer

Principles:

The inner wall of cylinder of drum concrete mixer is equipped with a plurality of mixing blades. During operation, the cylinder rotates around its own axis, and the material is divided, and then mixture continues to be redistributed and mixed.

Characteristics:

The drum concrete mixer has two transmission methods, and one is the gear drive, the other is the friction drive. Drum concrete mixer has many advantages, such as reliable transmission, low operation noise, low energy consumption, simple structure, low wearing degree, less wearing parts, high adaptability and simple maintenance.
